I'm confused, but this is the way I have been through all seasons of Lost. So the final season has started, the Oceanic crew are still on the island despite the explosion that was suppose to prevent the airplane from ever crashing. However, there are flashbacks where we get to see what happened to Jack, Kate, Claire, Rose, Sawyer, Hugo when the plane never crashed. This made me scratch my head and go "hum, what the hell does this all mean?"
With the Lost final season taking this route, I had to wonder what it all meant, which was the same question I asked as the flashbacks took us to the past and to the future. From past episodes, I understood that time travel was possible and there were wrinkles in the time travel when things didn't happen the way they should have. Or maybe, I was wrong thinking this, hmm.
From the new episodes, I wondered how can the cast be still on the island and in the present as if the plane never landed. Or is the director just trying to show us what would have happened if the plane never crashed? And if this is the case, why? How will this answer all the questions of what has already happened on the island?
It's all very confusing and hopefully the coming episodes will start to make sense of life on the island!
