Pour Some Sugar On Me Def Leppard

Def Leppard

The picture is a bit blurry, but onstage is Def Leppard and in the movie screen is Phil Collen cranking out tunes on his electric guitar. This was one awesome concert and I wanted more when it ended at 10:30 sharp! Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre are very picky about the length that bands perform. Despite the early ending, Def Leppard gave a spectacular performance. And I haven’t seen that many female breasts, since I was sixteen and at a Motley Crue concert. Joe Elliot, lead singer of Def Leppard, made a comment about the view from the stage. The cameras displayed the fun bags view many times on the movie screens off to the side of the stage.

We danced and sang every song that Def Leppard sang: Love Bites, Rock Rock Til You Drop, Photograph, Rock On, Let’s Get Rocked, Nine Lives, Animal, and many other hits. The crowd was not familiar with Def Leppard’s newest album, Songs From the Sparkle Lounge, because when they played Nine Lives the crowd was pretty quiet. I was surprised and disappointed that more of the so-called “diehard” Def Leppard fans did not know this song, which is the most popular off their new album and was up for a Country Music Award and Country Music Television Award.

Poison and Cheap Trick warmed us up before Def Leppard hit the stage. The crowd went nuts over Cheap Trick hits I Want You To Want Me and Surrender. Poison sang their hit songs Unskinny Bop, Every Rose Has Its Thorn, and Nothin But A Good Time. C.C. DeVille plays a mean guitar and Brett Michaels is just damn sexy. Brett gave props to all the men and women in the military. There was even a military guy on stage filming Poison as they performed.

Def Leppard announced that they would be back and I can’t wait to see them again!!
