28 Dogs Abandoned

I've heard many stories of dogs being left or taken to the humane society, because of the slump in the economy. In a week, I found two stray dogs. They looked like they had been on the streets for awhile. They were thin and dirty. I took them to the humane society hoping that their owners were looking for them or that they were adopted. I'm regretting that I didn't take them to a no-kill shelter, but I hope they have found homes.

Here is another story about dogs being abandoned in Frederick, MD. They were all small breed pups and it was a really cold day when they were left on the side of the road. There is a $500 reward for any information on who did this cruel act. There are no-kill shelters out there that owners can take their dogs to. If you have any info about who abandoned these dogs or want to adopt any of the pooches, here is the contact information. It’s located at 1832 Rosemont Avenue, or you can call them at (301) 600-1546.
