Well, the good news is the weather was much better than forecasted. It was suppose to snow and the high was to be 17 degrees. Actually, the snow never came and the sun shined. However, it was cold and I think the temperature didn't get past 20 degrees today. I was bundled in many layers and a comforter. I stayed warm, except, for my feet. Uggs did not keep my feet toasty warm. There was a time in the game that it looked like overtime was possible. I don't think my feet would have made it through overtime.
The bad news- the Broncos lost. Sad, sad, sad, but it was so exciting to be at an actual Broncos game. My husband and I haven't been in the new stadium so it was nice to check it out.
The Broncos haven't been the same since John Elway. Defense today, well, sucked. I had to ask, "Am I watching college football or pro players?" Yes, the defense were that bad. During a kickoff, the Bills were able to run 65 yards. They ended up on the 3rd or 5th yard line. And of course, the Bills made a touchdown. The offense did a pretty good job. However, there were several interceptions by the Bills and from one they accomplished a touchdown.
Despite the loss, my husband and I really enjoyed being at the Broncos game even if we froze our tootsies off. If we ever get the chance to go again, a couple more layers, wool blankets and those things that warm your hands and feet (I'm not sure what they are called). This should make for a more pleasant time in 17 degree weather.
