Soooo, my new, favorite show is "Life on Mars." I don't have a lot of time to watch television so I'm thankful that cable has DVR. Every since the invention of the DVR, I'm able to catch my shows. I know the VCR existed, but I was never disciplined enough to set the VCR.
Anyway, about my new obsession with "Life on Mars." I saw the commercials for this new show and the fact that Detective Sam Tyler (Jason O'Mara) finds himself in 1973 peaked my curiosity about this new primetime show.
It's funny and interesting to see how it was back in the 1970s. I was four in 1973 so I don't remember much, but I do remember the clothes. I watched "The Brady Bunch," "The Partridge Family," and other shows that were in the 70s realm so I'm familiar with the funky fashions.
I am curious to find out if Sam is dead and reincarniated in the year 1973, but he remembers his past life. Or did Sam time travel? Or is Sam in a coma and imagining all the things that are happening in each episode. Oh, Sam was hit by a vehicle then the next thing you see is him in 1973.
It's a fun show. Set your VCR or Tivo or DVR and check out "Life on Mars."
