There are two things that really piss me off, child molestors and illegal dog fighting. I read this article about Michael Vick. He plans to go back to the NFL after he has served his time. He'll get out of prison July 20, 2009. I'm not sure his sentence was long enough and I'm wondering if he is sorry for the crime he committed. Was his $928,000 contribution for the care of the surviving dogs an act of remorse or a way to get a lighter sentence? I'm glad the dogs are living in the lap of luxury. This is the way dogs should live.
Instead of Vick making plans to go back to the NFL, I think Vick should think about educating those that are conducting illegal dog fights and how it is horrible what they are doing to these dogs. And how these dogs do not want to fight, be starved, abused, or killed.
If I had the chance to talk to Michael Vick, I would one tell him exactly what I think of people, who make dogs fight. Then I would ask him, why he felt the need to make money in this way, when he was making millions with football. I can see why Greed is a sin. I think after Vick is released from prison, his probation should be to work at the ASPCA for ten years. This way he can see how animals are abused and hopefully he'll realize how his actions were so cruel.
